Relaxed, unassuming and inspiring, Ryan Keen bought his latest tour to Falmouth last night for a concert at The Poly.

With just an acoustic guitar and a selection of drums (played in accompaniment by Leeroy), the crowds attention was focused at all times on the unique singer/songwriter infront of them.

Ryan Keen isn't just your traditional guitar-playing singer, he wields his guitar in ways which don't even seem possible to the audience, regularly playing solos in songs by plucking the strings on the fretboard rather than just playing chords. His fast paced and frantic fingerwork pay off in the form of most beautiful rhythms and harmonies, with his heartfelt lyrics lying softly on top.

Appearing humbled throughout the performance, Ryan told the crowd that it was the "greatest feeling in the world, hearing a roomfull of strangers singing the songs I wrote in my bedroom two years ago".

Playing for well over two hours, Ryan treated the audience to a selection of new songs off his upcoming album 'Room For Light' (due for release this summer), as well as older tracks from his previous EP's, which are available to download to the right hand side of this page. Completing his setlist were two stunning covers, the first being a slowed down and stripped back version of Stay by Rihanna and Mikky Ekko. Closing the set was his own take on the classic song by The Killers, All These Things That I've Done.
